If you followed the link from AmericanNeoCon's post "American Power: Revolutionary Communists for Obama" on his site, please go back & read the comments, and decide for yourself what his point was in writing the post, and then whether he's made his case, (or for that matter, whether the link you followed from there to here really had any point being in the post in the first place.)
Then, come on back & read to your heart's content. I have nothing to hide...
Erik Visits a Non American Grave, Part 1,786

This is the grave of Christopher Columbus. Hoo boy…… I’m largely just going
to copy from my Columbus Day labor history post from earlier this year,
which...

Repsac3: I've added a link to American and Proud at my RCP post. If you follow the link, you'll see why I considered RCP's recognition as validation - not for my main points, but for the acceptable way of expressing them.
Respond at the post, in Haloscan, if you're able, because I'll remove the link to American and Proud later - it's vile...
There's no doubt, those folks are vile... And yes, your expression of your views is absolutely acceptable, whether or not I or anyone else agrees with them.
(I'm not saying I didn't get the tiniest kick out of their attacks on you, but I highly doubt they were justified, given much of what I saw there... They were far less justified than MY attacks on you are, that's for sure 8>)
Oh, don't worry about americanneocon. He's been visiting me lately, too. He seems like a decent sort, if somewhat misguided. A lot nicer than your average conservative troll.
;)
That's what I thought at first too, QDave... ...but Nero can develop a little mean streak when he feels cornered, and then it becomes a namecalling & unsubstantiated labelling free-for-all...
If you've ever got some time to waste, follow this link: And Doctor Biobrain's Response Is...: Obama's Pastor, pick any number between 1 and 230, (the current number of comments is 238) and read the next five comments, at least one or two of which will be from our friend Nero. His words and reasoning there paint quite a picture of the man in action.
I weep whenever I consider the education his students potentially may be receiving...
Repsac, thanks for the support over at Americancrazypowertown. Your comment got deleted, tho. What a funhouse it is over there.
Thanks for the biobrain link. I read a bit of it. Doctor Douglas seems to be a cross between Vizzini and Captain Queeg. I made the mistake of addressing him as Mr. Douglas once. Is it any wonder our childrens doesn't learn?
Wow... Until you mentioned it, I didn't realize he'd deleted my post...
Strange too, because I didn't realize until after I hit post over there that we weren't talking about the same picture, and I'm not so sure the one he linked to WAS a photoshopped, after all.
Here I give him a perfect opportunity to legitimately prove me mistaken, and he punts by deleting the comment, rather than showing the evidence of my error...
In case anyone's interested, the original comment was in reply to this: "Are you absolutely sure that picture is not a photoshop?", and went something like this:
Yes, that IS a photoshop, & Nero knows it. We went through all that the last time he whipped this photo out, and I even posted about it here: Wingnuts & Moonbats: NeoCon Truth (& love for one's fellow man). Truth can be a moving target here at American Power.
Of course, I hadn't actually followed the link he posted. My reference was to another picture, and I cannot say for certain whether the one he did post the link to (code pink.jpg) was or was not photoshopped...
Even if it wasn't, the only folks it shows CodePink supporting are those Iraqis who didn't want the US invading their country (You know... Those nice folks with the candy & flowers who would greet us as liberators? Yeah, them.) While the sign--like much of what Code Pink does--was over the top, there was no support for Al Qaeda, terrorists, or killing Americans, which is the frequent claim.
Anyway, I'm a little surprised he deleted the comment where I was clearly in error (I assumed he posted the same photoshopped picture as the last time, & didn't bother checking), but leaves up the comments where I (& a growing number of others, lately) pretty legitimately & effectively call his thoughts & actions into question. Go figure...
Forgot part of the comment Nero deleted...
Pretty much as written: "Nero - Comments: "I think it's depraved just looking for stuff like that to slur thoughtful conservatives"
Hypocrisy, table for one."
