America The Beautiful vs Some Ugly Americans

(Watch the behind the scenes videos, too. To steal from the title, America, the beautiful.)

But sadly, not everyone thinks so:

Of course, these people are obviously not conservatives or Republicans (or have ever met or even stood next to anyone who was), and they are obviously not, NOT, NOT saying anything bigoted or xenophobic... Just ask this guy:

These conservatives are not the bigots you're looking for. Really. Trust them.

UPDATE: And now Charles C. W. Cooke's tweet doesn't exist either. A hallucination. Like it never ever happened.)
If you're seeing a photo of Cooke's deleted tweet, you're hallucinating.

Beautiful. Just beautiful.

In going through the links, I learned that Allen West is unemployed once more, apparently as a result of calling someone at Pajamas Media a Jewish American Princess. Seems a little petty. My sympathies go out to the West family. I'm working on becoming a kinder, gentler moonbat.

In West's post, he quotes Teddy Roosevelt:

"Every immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or leave the country.”

I don't believe this goes far enough. I support legislation where everyone is required to speak English perfectly within 5 years. Grammar patrols could keep watch at demonstrations and the NSA would be in charge of internet monitoring of blog comments and posts. No regional accents would be allowed either. You Bostonian can learn how to say "park the car" correctly.

I probably would question how "American" Coca-Cola is. I believe they are more than willing to sell their product in any country to anyone speaking any language. That's what happens when they let Commies like Warren Buffett buy up large blocks of their stock.

I was rooting for the Broncos because a friend is a fan of theirs. So, I was a little disappointed to see how badly they played. In my new kind, gentle manner, I'm giving a shout out to Republican John Elway for helping me to feel better about the thrashing Denver took in the game. Thanks John.

Denver Broncos executive vice president of football operations John Elway revealed on Sunday that he was a Republican because he doesn’t “believe in safety nets” — even though he admitted they were necessary.

He points out in the interview that he is middle right, and sadly he probably is.

Not to get too conspiratorial about it, but Coke had to know that the Right in this country would go nuts over this. Any publicity is good publicity?
