Ok, I watched the videos and I still don't understand who did what to who. Can you explain? Thanks.
I can try...
Apparently, the peace protester in the black beret, a wounded vietnam vet, was frustrated by being called a traitor so many times in a row and with having that camera hovering around him, and either slapped or tried to brush away the camera of the videographer who posted the clip without the music (Skye, who I believe you're familiar with from Mike's, if not elsewhere.)
He reacted poorly, and I don't condone his actions, even if he was just trying to brush away the camera, but I don't blame his being agitated. No war veteran should have to endure some ass telling them they are a traitor, no matter their politics... It's wrong when the left does it, and it's wrong when the right does it.
I also think it dispels the notion that all peace protesters are left over hippies following the way of Ghandi under all circumstances. Some only oppose THIS war, and are not nonviolent, robe-wearing, meditating monks, in general. Some have no problem swattin' flies...
I see now. Thanks.
