I stopped by to say that I'm concerned about our friend (in a strictly McCain manner) Donald Douglas. First, it was the lobstergate episode. Then, the B-faced campaign worker which he went for hook, line and sinker. Now, he goes to a website named Jon Swift and doesn't realize he's being put on.
I really hope that someone close to him is thinking intervention. I don't think he's going to listen to either of us. His grip on reality seems to have loosened even more than normal lately, though. Obama derangement for real.
When I posted my comment there, I couldn't be sure whether he just didn't get the satire that is Jon Swift, or he just thought it was funny. With his reply to me, it becomes obvious that he once again grabbed hold of something--anything--with which to attack the radicalsocialistnihilist horde he imagines is out to destroy him & his low budget vision of America, and didn't give a second's thought to whether there might be a reason not to go there...
It reminds me most of the "Obama as terrorist" New Yorker cover, and the number of wingnut bloggers & opinioneers (including Donald, if I recall correctly) who didn't get that joke, or that it was an indictment of them & their methods, either.
Reppy: You've been particularly abusive in your comments at my page of late, and I'm not sure why. Perhaps the uncertain smell of victory is intoxicating you, and you're ready to rub it my face in it, after being so wrong on the issues so often.
Fine by me, as I'm confident that should Obama win, the honeymoon will be short-lived, and he'll be an abject failure, along with his socialist model.
Indeed, I'm looking forward to some time in opposition, whereby I'll hone my superior analytical skills even more, while you get fat on your fleeting moment in the sun.
Nero: I'd like some examples of the "abusiveness," be it here, there, or anywhere, but I'm fairly certain you won't bother to provide any, as the ambiguous, amorphous, undefined charge generally seems to better suit your purposes.
Aside that, I'm glad you're looking forward to your time in the wilderness, and that you're so optimistic about your party's return and your obvious (to you, anyway) superiorness over all lib bloggers. We'd hate for you to be sad over the unfortunate (for you, anyway) turn of electoral events...
